The petition ‘For the protection of the Quinta dos Ingleses woodland’, which gathered more than 8,000 signatures, was delivered to the Portuguese Parliament on 15 May by members and supporters of this movement. The event attracted the interest of various media outlets, including the SIC and RTP television channels, which carried out on-the-spot reports.
