On december 15, 2022, we were with Julia Twomlow, from the Museum of Global Communications (PK Porthcurno, Cornwall), planting seeds of hope for an interpretive telecommunications center in the ruined houses at Quinta dos Ingleses, where employees of the submarine cable station have lived for decades.
Julia is the coordinator of the Planet PK project in Cornwall, which involves the local community in a sustainability and ecological preservation project around this museum. A model that may inspire the viability and vision of the urban park for which we have fought so hard. This is the promising future of Quinta dos Ingleses, the only option for future generations.
