On December 17th, the ruling was handed down on the injunction proposed by SOS Quinta dos Ingleses. Inexplicably, the court considered that one of the necessary legal requirements, that of the imminent danger of destruction of the area, had not been proven, and that it is possible to restore the area to its current state if we win the main action. As we consider it absurd to maintain that it is possible to restore the current situation, we have decided to appeal against that ruling. The case will therefore go to Lisbon, to the 2nd instance court, and the appeal decision is expected to be known within 4 or 5 months.
Given that the appeal does not suspend the sentence, Alves Ribeiro may start work in the meantime.
