Ruling issued by the Sintra Court concerning the Interim Measure

On 20 June, we were notified of the ruling by the South Central Administrative Court, which upheld the Sintra Court's decision on the injunction. As a result, the works at Quinta dos Ingleses may continue—at least until a verdict is delivered in the main proceedings, which are currently underway and set for trial on 11 and 12 September.

This decision makes it even more urgent for a shift in municipal policy, and for the CMC to recognise that it is on the verge of causing irreversible ecocide in Carcavelos, destroying a unique and irreplaceable ecosystem.
