Quinta dos Ingleses under discussion in the Portuguese Parliament

On 16 July 2025, the issue of Quinta dos Ingleses was once again debated in the Portuguese Parliament during a plenary session, following a public petition that gathered more than 11,000 signatures.

Although it was regrettable that, unlike in 2021, a common resolution accepted by all was not adopted, today's session highlights the importance of the issue and the need to continue fighting for the preservation of Quinta dos Ingleses at the local government level.

Only with a change in the City Council will it be possible to defend and preserve this unique and priceless heritage.
