On October 26 2023, an open letter was delivered to the Environment and Climate Action Minister - "For a New Policy for Nature"
Nineteen environmental organisations and associations signed this open letter, which aims to urge the current minister to act urgently and effectively to safeguard existing forest parks and nature reserves, creating a new policy that effectively protects trees in urban areas, coastal areas with dense vegetation, primary forests, mature forests and areas with a concentration of biodiversity.
