SOS in Action for the Forest

On a windy morning, with the typical humidity of the Sintra hills, dozens of participants took part in the event SOS in Action for the Forest, a partnership between SOS Quinta dos Ingleses and the association Plantar uma Árvore.
This event was rich in symbolism: despite the challenges, people coming together meant that expectations were exceeded, in an effort we intend to replicate at Quinta dos Ingleses in the future, represented there by our iconic "Alice" (the sculpture). We thank the dozens of participants of all ages who collected large piles of trunks and branches that had fallen during recent storms and which could otherwise become fuel in the next fire season.
Today in Sintra, tomorrow at Quinta dos Ingleses. Caring for nature knows no boundaries.
