On 1 May, we held our third General Assembly with members, and we recently celebrated the registration of member number 200! We're proud to see how far we've come since 2021.
There have been many achievements, especially with regard to the support of Quinta's supporters, which is increasing every day: there were well over a thousand participants in the manifest and thousands of our followers on social media, and we received thousands of euros in donations via Facebook, GoFundMe, and bank transfers/Mbway. Many of these donations were anonymous or didn't have a way of contacting us, so we didn't have the opportunity to thank them.
So, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who supports us in all kinds of ways because all contributions - from the monetary ones (essential for the events and the legal aspect) to suggestions and words of encouragement and spreading the word about the cause - are fundamental to making a future re-naturalised urban park, covering the whole of Quinta dos Ingleses, a reality.
