We have the perfect contest for you: "The best letter" 2022, from Fundação Portuguesa das Comunicações.
The challenge is to write a letter to an influential person explaining how they should act on climate change and why.
Entries must be sent by post or email by March 31, 2022.

SOS Quinta dos Ingleses believes that this is an excellent opportunity for the youngest defenders of Quinta dos Ingleses to take our cause beyond Cascais and beyond borders for two reasons: the foundations of telecommunications in Portugal started at Quinta dos Ingleses, with the launch of the first submarine cables, and the preservation of our "green lung" is essential for mitigating the effects of climate change locally.
We encourage all young activists (aged 9 to 15) to write a letter addressed to the Mayor of Cascais, Mr Carlos Carreiras, explaining to him how and why making Quinta dos Ingleses an urban park can be an essential step to take in the fight against climate change.
According to the contest rules, participants should send the letter to amelhorcarta@fpc.pt. However, why not also send it directly to the Mayor at presidencia@cm-cascais.pt. SOS Quinta dos Ingleses would also love to receive a copy, which we'll publish on our social media: sosquintaingleses@gmail.com.
