Spending an afternoon drawing among trees to the sound of birds singing and with people who, like us, have loving esteem for nature, can only make us happy and willing to share the feeling with you.
We would like to thank the approximately 50 Urban Sketchers who gathered around the teachings of the artist João Catarino to make drawings of Quinta dos Ingleses on this beautiful sunny day.
Discovering this space with pen and pencil in hand opens us up to a whole new perspective.
In solidarity with the victims of the ongoing Ukrainian invasion by Russia, some participants drew only in yellow and blue colours. Over the time that this challenge lasted it was possible to see that some Urban Sketchers shared their representations of this little piece of land with the world on social media.
